Right now I am furious because I was working on a freehand drawing of Twilight Sparkle and it was going really well, but then right in the middle of saving it my freaking stupid computer locked up and the file was corrupted. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!! It never does that, why now? It was going to be so awesome, too!

So that is why I'm mad. I *was* happy because last night's concert was amazing. It opened with Combichrist, and they played 3 or 4 songs, and they were very impressive. They certainly sound much, much better live than they do in their recordings. Rammstein was awesome, and I was right at the front of the stage the whole time, so I had a great view. So yeah, short, semi-pony-related journal. Hooray.

Oh man, I've been waiting to see these guys for 13 years, which is how long it's been since they last toured here...now they've finally come back to the U.S.!! I didn't even think I was going to be able to make it but things just changed for the infinitely better and now I am going after all. Seriously, you guys probably don't even care but this is one of the things I would have on my bucket list if I had a bucket list, which I don't...but if I did, seeing Rammstein in concert would definitely be on there!

Now I just need to decide whether or not I have the balls to wear my Scootaloo and Dash shirt to it....

I hate to do it, but I've already bitten off more than I can chew right now and I am struggling to keep up. There are already things for people that are a month old and I don't like taking that long. I'll open them back up once I've caught up on my workload. Just hold those thoughts.

I have sorted my gallery a bit. I've got enough stuff in there now that having everything in one folder was getting a bit unwieldy, so I made separate folders for ShrugPonies, and Fillies/Colts.

Also, I have an idea that I was floating to a friend earlier, and I wanted to see how much interest there would be in it. I was thinking about working on a major pack of high resolution recreations of as many "set pieces" from the show as I could handle. That is, I would create the buildings, trees, clouds, grounds, bushes, carts, etc. in high quality vector-style format. These would be for use in creating other works. Everything would be manageable like a set; you could arrange everything like a stage to come up with your own "sets". If I get enough people interested in this, I'd probably start working on that ASAP.

I noticed a lot of people had messaged me over the weekend and I couldn't respond until today, and for that, I apologize. I was partying and having a rare good time down in Chicago. To those that are still waiting for commissions and requests, I also apologize; I do intend to do everything that I've been "hired" to do, even if I'm not getting anything in return. My schedule is always hectic, and sometimes I just don't have the will to work on ponies. That's the main reason I never became a professional artist; I always hated deadlines and the stress of having to get stuff done for clients in time. I don't have a lot of actual commissions, so to those people, I am working on them as I can. I am sorry for the long wait.

Ok, lots of stuff to say, so I'll start with those that I am already doing stuff for.

If you have requested a work from me via commission, art trade, or request, PLEASE send me an actual message ASAP. I am swamped with requests that were made randomly in the comment sections of other submissions and on my profile comment board, and I am starting to lose track of them all because DA's comment management system sucks. I am copying all requests into a separate document now but I feel that I might have missed some, so PLEASE send me a message with the details originally given to me so that I can confirm that I've gotten everybody.

To those that are considering asking me for a commission, art trade, or request at some point, please note that they are put in that order of importance; people paying me in money or points are obviously going to be getting their stuff first, regardless of when they asked for it.

Art trades are fine, too, but I am not going to be doing these for just anybody. Feel free to ask, and I will browse your gallery. If I like what I see, I will be happy to do a fair art trade. If not, please do not take it personally. If I had infinite time I would gladly do everything for free, but I've got work and sleep to attend to so I can't take all offers.

And finally, requests; these are the kind of request where you ask for something for free. Again, I love doing this stuff for you guys, but I can only handle so much before I've got waaay too much on my plate, so from now on, all requests are pretty much put in limbo. They will be the last things I work on after commissions and art trades, and my own projects are out of the way. This basically means that you might not see your request for a relatively long time. I will try to do all of them, but do not expect to make a request and see it the next day, or maybe even the next week, depending on my work load at the time.


That said, I am flattered that I have received so many requests. Nothing makes me happier than to have people coming to me with ideas and being able to provide them with something that makes them happy. I am in the works on something cool that I hope will be fun for everyone. I don't know how long it will take to get ready, but once it is finished, it should be exciting. I'm still trying to decide exactly how to do it, but I'm looking at either doing a contest or raffle with some cool stuff as prizes. More details on that as it comes closer to fruition.

I guess that is all I've got for now. A million thanks to all of you, you make my life 20% cooler.

I surpassed 100 watchers overnight while I slept. It also seems I am getting tons of unique pageviews per day regardless if I've uploaded something new or not. This is incredible! That is actually probably a feeble number for many people, but to me, it's nothing short of amazing. My regular DA account has existed for years and I think I've got like 10 people watching it, so I am in awe at how fast this account has been attracting attention, and I wanted to thank every single one of you for all of the fav's, watches and comments. You're the reason I keep on doing what I am doing, as nothing feels better to me than making others happy.

So does anyone else think it'd be freakin' AWESOME if, instead of focusing *just* on the main cast for the cutie mark crusaders episodes to come, when they start asking other ponies about their cutie marks, that they did some for the 2nd-tier characters like Vinyl Scratch or Lyra or any of the others? They could do a handful in one episode with short and simple "flashback" style recollections as each of them describe how they got their marks, and it would help fill out the stories for other ponies you see all the time in the background, not to mention it'd be a huge fanservice that would fall right into the storyline.

To anyone that has an original character for MLP:FiM, this is for you! A very awesome artist, Lilithnanhart ,
is gearing up for what looks like a very awesome graphical story. I don't really want to call it a comic, since it seems much more than that. Anyway, they need a LOT of OC's to help fill in the cast since there are many, many rolls to fill. This story takes place across Equestria and should be quite epic.

Now, I wouldn't do a shoutout like this unless I had a lot of confidence in the person I am mentioning, so if my words mean anything to you all, then this journal shows how sure I am that this project is going to rock.
